1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Qazaq Tarix Battle (Qazaq Tarix) mobile app collects, uses, stores, and deletes user information. For questions, contact qazaqtarix@gmail.com.
The app provides history lessons, online knowledge games, exam preparation, and an AI Historian assistant.
2. Information we process
- Account details: email address, display name or nickname, and a account identifier when you register.
- Profile: an avatar selected or uploaded by you, which may be stored in secure cloud storage.
- Activity: Battle results, wins and losses, rating points, answers, Daily Battle history, learning progress, and exam simulator results.
- Notifications: push notification token and notification permission status to deliver reminders.
- AI questions: prompts entered into AI Historian are processed to provide the service. Information you include in a prompt may also be transmitted; do not enter sensitive data.
3. Why we use data
- Create and manage your account and display your profile.
- Create Battle rooms with four-digit codes, connect players, and calculate results.
- Show leaderboards, daily streaks, learning progress, and exam results.
- Send daily reminders if you allow notifications.
- Use textbook content to find relevant information and generate AI Historian responses.
We aim to avoid sending account identifiers to outside AI services when processing history questions. However, personal details that you choose to include in a prompt may be processed with that prompt.
4. Third-party service providers
We use the following providers to operate certain app features:
- Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: push-notification delivery.
- Google Gemini API: processing AI learning questions.
These providers may process information under their applicable service and security terms. We do not sell personal information to advertising agencies.
5. Visibility of profiles and rankings
Other Battle players and leaderboard viewers may see your nickname, avatar, rating, and some game results. Your email address should not appear publicly in leaderboards.
6. Storage and security
Data may be kept for as long as it is needed to provide the app’s features, maintain your profile, calculate results, and handle requests. Account deletion is described on the account deletion page.
Access controls, HTTPS, and server-side permissions are used to protect data where implemented. No electronic system is completely secure.
7. Deleting your account and data
You can start deletion from Profile → Delete account inside the app or request it through our account deletion page. You can also contact qazaqtarix@gmail.com.
The deletion process should cover account and profile information, uploaded avatars, game statistics, and notification tokens. Any legal retention requirements or backup exceptions must be disclosed and implemented according to applicable rules.
8. Children’s privacy
The educational material may be used by minors. Applicable age limits, parental or guardian consent, and any enhanced protections must comply with local law and app-store policies for children.
Before publishing, the app operator must confirm the legal basis for processing data of children under 13 and the actual age restrictions. Parents may contact us with questions using the support email above.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction or deletion of account data, and you may change notification permissions. Contact qazaqtarix@gmail.com for assistance.
10. International processing
Service providers’ servers may operate in countries outside your location. Cross-border processing and the actual data-hosting region must be reviewed against the project’s settings and applicable legal requirements.
